Diana Boylston's (director, producer) successfully aired her first documentary "Unnatural Disaster: Falling Through The Cracks" on PBS. It was screened at the New Orleans Film and Video Festival, and in 2010, she was selected to present in New York at BAM's Creatively Speaking panel for filmmakers.

Before Katrina, Diana began co-producing independent projects until she was motivated to travel thousands of miles over five years and 10 states, to tell the story that she felt only she could tell. As a native of New Orleans 9th Ward, the former public school teacher began capturing the efforts to help displaced teens. A Tribune reporter wrote the documentary was "Democracy in Progress."  Her 20 yrs. experience of working in different aspects of the film business in the US and other countries has lead her to "The Long Road Home."
